Call Out for Subject Matter Experts for Vascular 2023
CCCN is looking for subject matter experts in the following areas:
- "stress and burnout related to the Covid 19 pandemic"
- Virtual care in the new era of the hybrid world
- NPs working in cardiovascular clinics in person or virtually
In the Fall of 2022 at the Candian Cardiovascular Congress it was obvious a nursing presence was less than robust. We voiced our opinion, and it was heard!
As we go forward with program planning for Montreal 2023, CCCN feels very much a part of the planning committee and we have been asked by several groups to have nursing representation on plenaries and workshops. If you feel you have an expertise in one of the areas mentioned above, please forward your CV to david@cccn.ca as well as Susan.Morris@Horizonnb.ca.
Please be aware that submitting an abstract for consideration is the only way to ensure a nursing presence. This year, like in 2013, Congress will be called Vascular 2023 and there will be programming available from Diabetes Canada, HTN Canada, Thrombosis Canada as well as others including CCS and it will be held in Montreal Oct 25-29.
