Dr. Paula Price Research Excellence Award in Cardiovascular Nursing
Dr. Paula Price was an Associate Professor and Director in the Advanced Studies in Critical Care Nursing program at Mount Royal University, Calgary, Alberta. She worked in critical care nursing practice and education for 30 years. Paula was the Editor for Dynamics for almost 20 years and The Canadian Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing for 8 years. She completed both a Masters and PhD in cardiovascular critical care nursing. Her area of research was in the area of effects of nursing interventions on cardiac patients. She was a member of CCCN since the 1980s.
This award is present to a CCCN member who demonstrates research excellence by:

2. Had mentored others to appreciate and/or assist in the research process
