Lynne Childs Excellence Award in Cardiovascular Nursing

Lynn was a graduate of Simonds Regional High School in 1966 and St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in 1969. She received her postgraduate education in Neuroscience Nursing from McGill University via the Montreal Neurological Institute in 1970. Lynn received her Baccalaureate in Nursing from the University of New Brunswick in Saint John in 2000, continuing with her Diploma in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University in 2002. She was enrolled in the Masters of Nursing program at the University of New Brunswick. She held certification in Critical Care and Cardiovascular Nursing and was a frequent guest speaker at national conferences.
