Request For Proposal - Association Management Services

CCCN is seeking a practical, responsive and strategically minded management partner that can strengthen our day-to-day operations while helping the Board enhance member value, financial sustainability, partnerships and national visibility. As a small national organization with a modest operating budget, we are particularly interested in an approach that delivers meaningful value without unnecessary complexity or cost.

The Board of Directors will retain responsibility for governance, policy, strategic direction, budget approval, major organizational decisions, fiduciary oversight and cardiovascular nursing expertise. The selected Association Management Company (AMC) will provide the business, operational, financial, project-management, communications, membership, funding and event-management expertise required to implement Board direction and support CCCN’s ongoing development.

We anticipate that the successful proponent will provide an experienced lead Executive Director supported by appropriate AMC resources as required. The Executive Director does not need to be a nurse or cardiovascular specialist; CCCN’s Board and committees provide the relevant professional and clinical expertise. We are seeking a management partner that can offer sound advice, clear accountability, transparent reporting, dependable follow-through, and practical ideas for innovation, efficiency, revenue development and member engagement.

The RFP package provides further information about CCCN, the anticipated scope of services, required deliverables, transition expectations, proposal requirements, pricing information and the evaluation process. The anticipated service commencement date is January 1, 2027.
