Call for Nominations for the Board of Directors

Members of the Canadian Council of Cardiovascular Nurses in good standing are invited to nominate members for the following positions:

• President Elect – 1-year term ending AGM 2023
• Director Publications – 1-year term ending AGM 2023
• Director Research – 2-year term ending AGM 2024
• Director Provincial Divisions – 2-year term ending AGM 2024
•  Director Membership & Communications – 3-year term ending AGM 2025
• Secretary/Treasurer – 3-year term ending AGM 2025

All nominations shall be accompanied by the required nomination materials, including a letter of support from the nominator[s}, to include relevant details of the nominee’s professional experience and education [max 500 words], a brief statement [max 250 words] from the nominee on what he/she will bring to the specific director role and the Board of Directors, signed consent of the nominated member, and a signature of a member in good standing supporting the nomination.

Nominees must be members in good standing with the Canadian Council of Cardiovascular Nurses. The nominees must be prepared to serve the term limit as outlined above commencing after the first board meeting following the Annual General Meeting.

All nominations must be received by April 29, 2022 to be valid. Nominations will NOT be accepted from the floor at the Annual General Meeting.
